Senior PR Account Executive – Southampton

About the role

We are seeking a Senior PR Account Executive to join an established agency in Southampton. You will help drive client growth by managing relationships, supporting strategic campaigns and securing high‑profile media coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and act as the main point of contact on smaller accounts.
• Support senior team in planning and delivering strategic PR campaigns.
• Craft press releases, case studies, articles and social content, and develop compelling story angles.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key journalists.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest PR tools and industry trends.
• Contribute to client reporting and collaborate with senior‑level stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in public relations, either agency, in‑house or journalism.
• Confident written and verbal communication, able to translate complex information into clear media messages.
• Strong organisational skills, creativity and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to build trust with clients, colleagues and media contacts.
