About the role
The Senior Pricing Analyst will be reporting into the Portfolio & Pricing Manager and is responsible for developing and managing analytical tools and strategies to evaluate and monitor risk‑adjusted returns across portfolios, ensuring effective pricing strategies. Key responsibilities
- Pricing Analysis: Utilising statistical techniques and data analysis to assess portfolio‑level risk, returns, volatility, and risk‑aligned pricing.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across customer segments using advanced analytics.
- Policy and Strategy Development: Supporting the creation of pricing proposals and strategies.
- Data‑Driven Insights: Delivering actionable recommendations to optimise risk‑adjusted returns and maintaining monitoring post‑implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with internal teams including Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Commercial, and Operations.
- Analytical expertise and strong coding skills in SQL are essential.
Required profile
- A degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL; Python experience is highly beneficial.
- Experience with cash‑flow simulations and IRR/NPV calculations.
- Background in pricing or portfolio management.
- Understanding of credit risk metrics (PD, LGD, EAD) and financial modelling.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with statistical analysis.
