Senior Private Client Solicitor – 5+ PQE

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience to join our friendly private client department in Winchester. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, and complex tax and trust matters while contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a full and varied caseload covering wills, probate, estate administration, LPAs, complex tax and trust matters.
• Develop new business and expand the client base through networking and relationship building.
• Provide high‑quality advice and support to private clients in the local area.
• Collaborate with the department to support growth and service excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years PQE in private client work.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse legal caseload independently.
• Proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a supportive team environment.
