Senior Private Client Solicitor (8+ PQE) – £75k-£100k

About the role

G2 Legal Limited, a Legal 500‑recognised firm, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its high‑net‑worth practice in Luton. You will inherit an established caseload and build long‑term relationships with affluent individuals and families, delivering specialist advice across wills, trusts and tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of private client matters, including complex wills and living wills.
• Handle probate applications, estate administration and Court of Protection cases.
• Create, administer and review trusts for domestic and international assets.
• Advise clients on inheritance tax strategies and maximise HMRC reliefs.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through meetings and high‑quality service.
• Provide support to other offices when required.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 8+ years PQE in private client work.
• Commercial mindset with strong business development capability.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to mentor junior staff.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Will drafting and complex estate planning.
• Probate and estate administration.
• Trust creation, administration and ongoing management.
• Inheritance tax planning and HMRC relief optimisation.
• Court of Protection matters.
