Senior Process Engineer – Water Infrastructure

About the role

Skanska is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Infrastructure function on the Anglian Water project in Peterborough. You will lead technical delivery across the full project lifecycle, ensuring safe, on‑time and sustainable outcomes for a £2.6 billion water infrastructure programme.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Process Engineers throughout the project.
• Review and assure process design deliverables for fitness, compliance and alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage design quality, cost, schedule and safety targets.
• Validate mass balances, sizing, hydraulics, process flow diagrams, control philosophies and P&ID/3D models.
• Support design queries, supplier inputs and mentor junior engineers while championing health, safety and innovation.

Required profile

• Degree‑level engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience on water‑sector assets and capital delivery projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and industry codes.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers.
• Chartered Engineer status or active pursuit of chartership.
