Senior Product Manager

About the role

As we continue to expand our platform and enhance our offerings, we are seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Checkatrade’s new advertising products. This role provides a unique opportunity to drive innovation, shape the future of advertising within our ecosystem, and unlock new growth opportunities for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design new advertising products and upgrade existing ones, strengthening current solutions and creating fresh ways for tradespeople to reach customers.
• Translate user behaviour, market trends and performance data into bold product decisions that move key metrics.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, data scientists and commercial teams to ship quickly and solve problems together.
• Run experiments such as A/B tests, pricing trials and performance tuning to define what “great” looks like.
• Drive the launch of an entirely new growth stream, turning ideas into the next generation of advertiser‑customer connections.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management; consulting, ad‑tech or digital marketing background is a plus.
• Strategic, product‑thinking mindset with the ability to set clear priorities and trade‑offs.
• Strong analytical instincts and confidence in designing and interpreting experiments.
• Collaborative, engineering‑friendly approach, enjoying close work with designers, data teams and commercial partners.
• Ability to simplify complex problems into actionable product decisions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate the “why” and make ideas digestible.
• Bias for action and ownership, comfortable moving fast and taking concepts from idea to launch.
