Senior Product UI/UX Designer

About the role

Riwaya, the world's first online premium Islamic marketplace based in the United Kingdom, is looking for a Senior Product UI/UX Designer to work directly with the founder from home. You will join a global team to design and iterate on Riwaya 7.0, working on new features, referral systems, payment flows and vendor features, and helping to build a start-up from 0-1.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design activities on the platform, covering wireframing, ideation, moodboards and customer-centred user flows
• Build out strategy using first-principles thinking to iterate on design and product
• Promote good design principles such as homogeneous design and reusable elements
• Report status and progress according to project and company needs
• Assist and lead the creation of scoping, estimation and design plans
• Continuously improve and iterate design practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of experience as a Product UI designer
• Fluent English, writing and speaking
• E-commerce experience
• Good communication skills
• Self-learner able to work without supervision, with working hours overlapping GMT
