Senior Project Manager – Data Centre

About the role

RLB is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a multi‑phase Data Centre campus. The role is based on‑site in Buckinghamshire, working five days a week, and includes contract administration and client liaison responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contract administration, change management and commercial aspects with support from the Cost Management team.
• Oversee risk management processes and produce monthly reports for the client.
• Lead the client, design teams and contractors throughout design, tender and construction stages.
• Provide day‑to‑day management for 1‑2 RLB staff and ensure compliance with health, safety, security and quality standards.
• Assist partners in developing new Data Centre opportunities, fee proposals and RFP responses.

Required profile

• Proven senior project management experience on‑site within the Data Centre or mission‑critical sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills, with experience managing clients, design teams and contractors.
• Background in contract administration or employer’s agent duties.
• Chartered professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM, ChPP) or equivalent construction degree.
• Positive, proactive attitude focused on delivering client‑service excellence and commercial results.
