About the role
Places for People is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead IT‑focused mergers and integrations. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will drive the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses and assets across the Group.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross‑functional IT projects in an agile environment, ensuring system integration, decommissioning and measurable business outcomes.
- Translate strategic intent into well‑governed delivery plans across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate concurrent workstreams, proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies.
- Brief senior stakeholders, influence decision‑making and remove blockers to keep teams on schedule.
- Oversee budget management and financial oversight for project portfolios.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering IT‑based mergers and integrations.
- Background in housing association environments and matrix management structures is desirable.
- Adaptable, open to new ways of working and comfortable using AI tools.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, mentoring colleagues and supporting the Programme Manager strategically.
