Senior Project Manager – Security Coordination

About the role

The Royal Parks is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Security Coordination Project. In this 12‑month fixed‑term role you will shape a sustainable, compliant security model across the charity’s eight Royal Parks and other public spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project planning, governance and stakeholder engagement for the security coordination programme.
• Maintain detailed project plans, risk registers and budgets, ensuring alignment across workstreams.
• Manage two main workstreams: the strategic operating model and preparation for Martyn’s Law.
• Develop security capabilities and partnerships to build an effective, sustainable framework.
• Assess the impact of security changes on the organisation and estate, ensuring compliance with licensing and protective security requirements.
• Oversee staff training, external engagement, communication strategies and related business change activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects from concept to delivery.
• Experience designing and implementing operating models.
• Track record of delivering projects involving significant business change.
• Ability to manage external relationships and senior internal stakeholders.
