Senior Quantity Surveyor – Façade Remediation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of façade remediation projects across London and the Home Counties. You will oversee multiple schemes valued between £1m‑£3m, ensuring profitable delivery while maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full commercial life cycle from procurement through to final account.
• Lead procurement of cladding and façade packages, including subcontractor selection and negotiation.
• Monitor financial performance using CVR reporting, cost tracking and forecasting.
• Administer subcontractor accounts, payments and contractual obligations.
• Assess, price and agree variations with clients and subcontractors.
• Control project cash flow and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Provide leadership to junior Quantity Surveyors.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS within a main‑contractor façade or cladding remediation environment.
• Proven experience in cladding and façade procurement and delivery.
• Experience managing 5‑6 concurrent projects, typically £1m‑£3m each.
• Strong knowledge of CVR reporting, cost control, subcontract procurement and variation management.
• Background in refurbishment or remediation schemes.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
