Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead the commercial delivery of mission‑critical projects, providing accurate cost reporting and ensuring contracts meet profitability targets. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with project teams across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Manager to deliver contracted work within agreed margins.
• Prepare and submit main contract payment applications and manage subcontractor payments.
• Maintain accurate commercial reports, forecasts and cost tracking against contract profitability.
• Resolve subcontract issues, variations and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Operations team to meet project cost, quality and time targets.

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent commercial discipline.
• Minimum 8 years’ quantity surveying experience in a contracting environment, preferably in fit‑out or M&E for mission‑critical projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, including experience with schedule‑of‑rates contracts.
• Proven people‑management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and manage several projects simultaneously.
