Senior R&D Tax Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior R&D Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team in London. You will work on high‑value R&D tax credit projects for leading corporations, applying up‑to‑date legislation and DSIT guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end R&D claim processes and methodologies.
• Lead client meetings with technical and financial specialists to gather necessary information.
• Manage a portfolio of R&D tax clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Compile and submit comprehensive claim documentation to HMRC, covering both technical and costing aspects.
• Prepare enquiry responses and support ongoing client engagements.
• Collaborate effectively within project teams and mentor junior colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of proven R&D tax relief experience.
• Degree in IT, Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication of technical and commercial concepts, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, eager to learn independently and develop professional networks.
