Senior Recruitment Consultant - Business Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Corporate Services team in Edinburgh. You will focus on recruiting for the Business Support sector, delivering end‑to‑end consultancy to both clients and candidates while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage candidate pools through targeted advertising, LinkedIn and professional networks.
• Monitor job boards, generate referrals and maintain an up‑to‑date candidate database.
• Ensure administrative compliance and deliver high‑standard candidate care before and after placement.
• Proactively generate new business via cold calls, networking and brand promotion.
• Build and nurture client relationships to secure repeat business and conduct regular service reviews.
• Conduct effective meetings, meet deadlines and develop specialist knowledge of the Business Support sector.
• Provide end‑to‑end consultancy, exceeding client and candidate expectations.

Required profile

• Background in agency recruitment within Administration, HR or Finance.
• Strong research skills and a desire to become an expert in the sector.
• Ability to build rapport with candidates and clients at all levels.
• Team‑player mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work to deadlines.
