Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its Southampton office. You will focus on education recruitment, building relationships with schools and placing high‑quality teaching and support staff while enjoying strong earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with primary, secondary and SEND schools.
• Source, interview and place teaching and support staff.
• Develop new business through networking, referrals and proactive outreach.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate attraction to placement.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales and performance targets.
• Provide market insight and expert advice to clients and candidates.
• Mentor junior consultants where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records using the CRM and recruitment systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in education recruitment or fast‑moving temporary recruitment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and a money‑motivated attitude.
• Excellent communication, drive and ambition.
• Valid UK driving licence.
