Senior Residential Property Solicitor (Legal Director)

About the role

This senior position combines legal expertise with strategic leadership, overseeing high‑value residential property transactions for a top‑50 UK law firm. You will manage a diverse caseload while driving business development and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on acquisition, disposal and financing of high‑value freehold and leasehold residential properties.
• Handle complex conveyancing matters and other residential property legal issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with estate agents, property finders and other referral sources.
• Lead and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to thought‑leadership initiatives.
• Participate in networking, business development and strategic growth activities for the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 10 years PQE specialising in residential property law.
• Proven experience in high‑value residential conveyancing and strong commercial awareness.
• Track record of generating new business and developing client relationships.
• Effective mentor and team leader, committed to delivering exceptional client service.
• Strong financial management and strategic thinking abilities.
