Senior Risk Transfer Consultant

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing independent consultancy to build a new Senior Risk Transfer Consultant position within its expanding de‑risking team. This client‑facing role will allow you to shape the future of a specialist risk transfer practice while advising pension schemes on de‑risking strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Advise pension scheme trustees on de‑risking and risk transfer solutions.
• Support the full transaction lifecycle, from initial planning through execution.
• Collaborate closely with clients, insurers and market advisers.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the specialist risk transfer team.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the pension risk transfer market.
• Strong understanding of de‑risking solutions and insurer markets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience operating at Senior Consultant level or above.
• Project‑management, business‑development or actuarial experience is advantageous.
