Senior RME Technician

About the role

As a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician at Amazon, you will lead a shift team to ensure critical equipment operates at peak performance. You will monitor processes, drive preventative maintenance, and implement improvements across an EU‑wide network.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate and enforce best‑practice safety procedures for equipment use.
• Perform visual checks, condition‑based monitoring, and preventative maintenance, scheduling additional servicing when needed.
• Supervise and develop on‑shift technicians, acting as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise downtime and keep package processing fast.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to standardise processes across the EU network.
• Monitor equipment performance using tools such as SCADA and support administrative tasks with the line manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in equipment maintenance and reliability engineering.
• Ability to lead a team on shift patterns, including weekends and nights.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on reducing downtime.
• Willingness to work onsite at an Amazon fulfillment centre.
