Senior Roadfreight Coordinator

About the role

Freightserve is seeking a Senior Roadfreight Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end import and export road freight operations for its busy Slough hub. You will act as the main point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring shipments are planned, scheduled and tracked accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Handle import and export road freight from start to finish, including specials and groupage to Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Plan and schedule shipments, creating and managing bookings in internal systems.
• Provide daily shipment coordination, demo movements, returns and collection/delivery support.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, transport providers and internal departments.
• Ensure full visibility and control across all movements, updating customers on shipment status.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all freight activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in road freight coordination or a similar logistics role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to consistent service delivery.
