Senior Sales Account Manager – Medical Devices (Scotland)

About the role

Our client, a leading medical equipment supplier, is seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager to drive growth and manage key accounts within the NHS in Scotland. The role combines strategic account development with hands‑on project coordination to ensure successful delivery of medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing NHS accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Oversee contract management, including KPI monitoring, renewals and variations.
• Coordinate product installations and manage equipment lifecycle to meet client specifications.
• Conduct quarterly reviews with senior NHS stakeholders and present innovative solutions.
• Keep detailed records and update Salesforce CRM to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
• Build long‑term relationships with NHS Trusts and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Proven track record in account management and new‑business development within healthcare.
• Familiarity with NHS procurement processes and managed‑service contracts.
• Experience in contract oversight, KPI monitoring and renewals.
• Strong commercial acumen and excellent organisational abilities.
• Ability to engage senior NHS stakeholders and deliver persuasive presentations.
