Senior Sales Manager – Card Issuing

About the role

Checkout.com is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Sales Manager to join the Commercial Team in London and drive rapid growth for its Card Issuing solution. You will help global enterprises launch modern card programs, from virtual travel cards to physical BNPL cards, while managing multiple sales cycles and exceeding targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify promising clients and build a healthy pipeline for card issuing across verticals.
• Sell issuing products to travel intermediaries and fintech clients using outbound techniques.
• Act as a consultative expert, handling detailed product questions and positioning Checkout.com as an industry leader.
• Prepare thorough presentations and proposals that highlight ROI for modern card programs.
• Lead the full sales process, serving as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other sales team members to share best practices and market insights.
• Provide feedback on local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in payments or card issuing.
• A solid network of potential prospects and partners.
• Proficiency with AI‑powered sales tools to accelerate prospecting and deal analysis.
• Tech‑savvy passion for how technology transforms finance.
• Strong business acumen, including understanding of interchange mechanics and card scheme products.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Experience using Salesforce and an organized approach to shifting workloads.
