Senior Site Civil Engineer – Data Center Projects

About the role

HDR is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer to join its fast‑growing TMT practice. You will work on the design and delivery of civil site infrastructure for data centers and other mission‑critical facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead early project development activities such as site selection, due diligence, and planning.
• Develop civil design packages including site layout, grading, drainage, paving, utilities, and erosion control.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting submittals with local authorities.
• Provide construction administration and technical support throughout the project life‑cycle.
• Mentor and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and drafters as needed.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional with strong collaborative and leadership abilities.
• Experience delivering high‑quality civil site designs for mission‑critical projects.
• Ability to manage complex assignments and make sound engineering judgments.
