Senior Social Worker – Integrated Front Door

About the role

Our client Yorkshire Collaboration is seeking two Senior Social Workers to join the Children’s Integrated Front Door team. The role is initially for 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension, and offers a hybrid working pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with children, young people and families to assess needs and support decision‑making.
• Conduct risk assessments, produce safety plans and analyse information from multiple sources.
• Undertake statutory assessments and deliver high‑quality reports.
• Plan, implement and review interventions in line with regulatory standards.
• Manage a complex workload independently while liaising with internal and external partners.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and produce concise reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a MASH/Screening team and ability to work at pace.
• Strong understanding of thresholds, risk assessment and safety planning.
• Familiarity with the Signs of Safety framework and Mosaic case‑management system (preferred).
• Ability to work hybrid – three days on site and two days remote each week.
