Senior Staff Nurse – Oncology/SACT (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our dedicated oncology unit at Springfield Hospital. This part‑time position (19 hours per week) offers the chance to lead and support a specialist team delivering chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to oncology patients receiving SACT.
• Lead and mentor junior nursing staff, ensuring safe administration of chemotherapy.
• Coordinate patient pathways and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Post‑registration qualification or course in chemotherapy administration.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Experience organising oncology care in a hospital setting.
