Senior Sustainability Consultant (BREEAM)

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Sustainability Consultant to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol. You will work on a variety of high‑profile projects across commercial, education, public sector and master‑planning schemes, delivering practical sustainability strategies that support Net Zero Carbon objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client meetings to define project sustainability goals.
• Develop and deliver sustainability strategies and environmental assessment frameworks (BREEAM, WELL, NABERS, SKA, etc.).
• Conduct technical assessments such as energy modelling and lifecycle analysis.
• Prepare detailed sustainability reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Integrate sustainability considerations into multidisciplinary design processes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulations, standards and emerging technologies.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior sustainability consultant, preferably with BREEAM AP accreditation.
• Strong understanding of Net Zero Carbon targets and environmental assessment schemes.
• Excellent client‑facing and project‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, planners and developers.
