Graduate Planner

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Planner to join our team in Bristol. The role offers the opportunity to support senior planners on a variety of planning and environmental projects, particularly within renewable energy. You will gain hands‑on experience in planning applications, stakeholder engagement and report production.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior planning staff with pre‑application submissions and attend meetings.
• Compile site appraisals and conduct site visits.
• Assist in preparing planning statements, design and access statements, EIAs and other reports.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement and community consultation reports.
• Liaise with clients, internal teams and subcontractors to organise and schedule work.
• Prepare planning applications and help produce tender and fee proposals.

Required profile

• Degree in Planning (UK or Irish system knowledge preferred).
• Commitment to pursue RTPI or IPI membership.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team.
• Full driving licence and own transport.
• Interest in renewable energy sectors.
