Senior Talent Partner (UK)

About the role

Busuu, a language-learning EdTech company and part of the Chegg family, is hiring a Senior Talent Partner for a hybrid role based in the UK. It combines Talent Acquisition and People Partner functions, bringing UK employment law and HR expertise to the People & Culture team and supporting the Spain-based Global People Partner on UK matters. The role owns full-cycle, in-house recruiting and organisational design, with AI tools built in from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit in-house for all roles up to Director level, using AI-powered sourcing and screening and an AI-enabled recruiting metrics dashboard (time to hire, time to fill, source of hire).
• Act as the UK HR expert, covering employee relations, compliance and policy alongside the Global People Partner.
• Work with ELT-1 leaders to define scope, organisational design and job descriptions, using AI to draft and iterate them.
• Define talent and recruiting strategy for backfills, new roles and future planning during business planning cycles.
• Partner with the People Operations Specialist and onshore/offshore recruiting support to hit hiring metrics.
• Use AI chatbots and scheduling tools to coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates at scale.
• Support Global transformation projects, including organisational restructuring and labour relations guidance.

Required profile

• Full-cycle, in-house recruiting experience across mid-to-senior roles.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR generalist practice.
• Experience in organisational design, including job architecture and job descriptions.
• Hands-on experience building and using AI-enabled recruiting and HR tools.
• Experience managing offshore/onshore recruiting coordination.
• UK-based, with flexibility to partner across time zones with a Spain-based People Partner and global leadership.
