Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

This urgent interim position supports an international client in Cambridge, reporting to the Group Tax Manager. The Senior Tax Analyst will handle a mix of compliance and advisory tasks while the permanent role is being recruited.

Key responsibilities

• Own transfer pricing documentation, including master files, local files and inter‑company agreements.
• Manage transfer pricing compliance across multiple jurisdictions and support audit negotiations.
• Coordinate UK and international tax filings such as corporation tax and VAT/GST, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with tax reporting, year‑end processes and audit reviews.
• Provide advice on cross‑border transactions and inter‑company arrangements, highlighting risks and commercial solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax legislation, assess impact and advise relevant teams.
• Act as primary contact for external advisors and maintain strong internal relationships with finance and legal.
• Support responses to tax authority enquiries and keep comprehensive activity records.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CTA.
• Significant experience in corporate tax, VAT/GST and transfer pricing.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
