Senior Tour Designer – European Cultural Tours

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tour Designer to create and manage European cultural tours for a specialist travel company in London. You will own the full lifecycle of each tour, from concept to delivery, working closely with suppliers, clients and on‑ground teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and cost bespoke European tours.
• Source and liaise directly with hotels, restaurants and other European suppliers.
• Coordinate with ground agents across Europe and beyond.
• Pitch to US clients, handle client documentation and answer queries via phone and email.
• Manage tour finances, booking forms and pre‑tour paperwork.
• Book flights using Galileo or a similar system.
• Oversee daily logistics, party welfare and work with expert lecturers or local guides.
• Resolve issues calmly, from lost baggage to medical emergencies.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years’ experience organising special‑interest tours to Europe.
• Background or strong interest in Art History and/or gardens.
• Working knowledge of at least one European language.
• Excellent administrative, communication and copy‑writing abilities.
• Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize details and make decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Galileo flight‑booking system.

What we offer

• Salary of £40,000 per year.
• Hybrid working model – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
