Senior Transition Manager – Finance Credit

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Transition Manager to lead the migration of finance credit processes from multiple European locations into a centralised shared services model. The role is fully remote with occasional travel to Poland and offers the opportunity to shape a high‑visibility transformation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end transition projects for Finance Credit operations across several European markets.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, finance teams and cross‑functional workstreams to achieve transition objectives.
• Lead knowledge‑transfer activities, process mapping, documentation and training to ensure operational readiness.
• Identify risks, dependencies and inefficiencies, and implement mitigation plans.
• Monitor progress, milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support go‑live activities and post‑transition stabilisation to sustain performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, promoting standardisation and best practices.
• Maintain service quality, compliance and customer expectations throughout the transition lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering multiple finance transition projects, preferably within credit operations.
• Strong project‑management capabilities across geographically dispersed locations.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders.
• Background in shared services, BPO, GBS or large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Fluent English; additional European language skills are a plus.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, changing environments while balancing multiple priorities.
