Senior Web Developer, Marketing

About the role

Phrase is building a modern, AI‑driven Language Intelligence Platform. The Senior Web Developer will lead the rebuild of phrase.com on a Next.js, Storyblok and Vercel stack, working from Figma designs and AI‑assisted coding tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical build of the new phrase.com site using Next.js, Storyblok and Vercel.
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot as part of daily workflow.
• Build and document a reusable Storyblok component library for non‑developers.
• Script and execute the migration of content from WordPress to Storyblok.
• Implement redirect maps, hreflang tags and staged roll‑out plans.
• Set up automated accessibility and performance checks (axe, Lighthouse) in CI.
• Own day‑to‑day site operations, including bug fixes, new landing pages and integration updates.

Required profile

• Senior‑level production experience with React and Next.js, including SSR/SSG and performance optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with a headless CMS, preferably Storyblok.
• Demonstrated daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals (redirects, hreflang, structured data, Core Web Vitals).
• Comfortable owning a system end‑to‑end without a large supporting team.
• Professional English communication skills.
