Senior/Staff Product Designer

About the role

Gigs builds an operating system for mobile services, letting tech companies embed global connectivity into their products. As a Product Designer you will shape how people experience telecom, crafting intuitive, beautiful experiences across web and mobile products and strengthening the company's brand through a cohesive design system and visual identity. The role blends creative excellence with hands-on execution, working closely with product and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for key product areas across web and mobile, from discovery to polished delivery
• Extend and evolve the design system to balance consistency and creativity
• Turn complex telecom concepts into intuitive workflows and crisp UI
• Collaborate daily with product, engineering and customer stakeholders to scope, prototype, validate and ship
• Run discovery by synthesising research, data and feedback into clear insights
• Craft production-ready specs with a smooth design-to-dev handover, including interaction states and edge cases
• Occasionally contribute to website and brand-related work
• Champion quality, accessibility and performance while keeping pace
• Mentor peers, share feedback and help strengthen the product design culture

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer-grade products with strong UX and visual craft
• Strong product sense and comfort making trade-offs that deliver user and business impact
• Excellent collaboration and communication with founders, product managers and engineers
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and iterating quickly in a startup environment

Required skills

• Fluency in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma)
• Familiarity with implementation constraints
