SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant – Specialist School (Full‑Time)

About the role
We are seeking a resilient and proactive SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision in Greenwich. You will support pupils aged 5‑16 with a range of special educational needs, including autism and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to help pupils access the curriculum.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and promote emotional regulation.
- Encourage independence and personal development within a structured environment.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
- Confidence in managing behaviour, communication and learning challenges.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils requiring extra support.
- Full‑time availability with an immediate start.
