SEO Director – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, technically‑driven SEO Director to own SEO performance across a portfolio of websites and clients. You will work fully remotely, enjoying autonomy, flexibility, and collaboration with a forward‑thinking digital team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive technical SEO audits.
• Develop and manage long‑term SEO roadmaps and performance strategies.
• Identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, and site‑architecture issues.
• Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO fixes and improvements.
• Monitor performance and produce insightful, action‑oriented reports.
• Stay ahead of algorithm updates, industry changes, and SEO innovations.
• Support junior SEO team members and act as the technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with a strong technical focus.
• Proven track record delivering successful technical SEO strategies.
• Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, schema markup, redirects, and page‑speed optimisation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects end‑to‑end.
• Comfortable communicating technical insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
