SEO Manager – Hands‑on Technical SEO Leadership

About the role

This contract position offers a high‑impact opportunity to lead day‑to‑day SEO activities for a leading digital marketplace during a critical transition period. You will work autonomously, applying strong technical SEO expertise to support a major site redesign and migration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical, on‑page and content optimisation across the platform.
• Conduct technical audits, crawl analysis, schema implementation and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Manage performance monitoring via Google Search Console, analytics tools and internal dashboards.
• Support the site redesign, ensuring SEO integrity throughout migration.
• Drive Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Large Language Model (LLM) initiatives for emerging AI‑driven search.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Content and Marketing teams to deliver SEO projects.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in technical, content and performance SEO.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and deliver quickly.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross‑functional teams.
