SEO Manager

About the role

PHD UK is seeking an SEO Account Manager to lead the agency’s most complex and high‑profile organic accounts. You will drive top‑tier SEO performance while pioneering future‑focused strategies such as Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), AI‑driven discovery, and multi‑format search visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day client account activities, including audits, reporting, and strategy execution.
• Collaborate closely with the SEO Account Director and wider teams to test innovations and optimise performance.
• Maintain daily client contact, proactively identifying opportunities to increase organic market share, SERP visibility, AI search presence and brand authority.
• Develop forward‑looking organic strategies that reflect evolving user behaviour and search engine advancements.

Required profile

• Strong desire to continuously develop SEO expertise and shape the future of organic performance.
• Proven experience managing SEO accounts for large or complex brands.
• Client‑facing mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and communicate insights clearly.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with cross‑functional teams.
