Service Accountant

About the role

The Service Accountant will join the Management Accounts Team to provide high‑quality financial management support across designated service areas. You will work closely with budget holders and operational teams to ensure accurate, timely financial information informs decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Management Accountant in budget monitoring, forecasting and production of monthly financial reports.
• Analyse financial data, investigate variances and provide clear advice to budget holders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial positions for assigned services and assist in the preparation of budget statements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
• Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
