Service Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Service Accountant to provide professional financial advice and support to a service division or directorate. The role involves working closely with the service team to ensure sound financial management and compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and support to the service division based on a solid understanding of the business and regulatory framework.
• Coordinate revenue and capital budget preparation, monitoring, and closure of accounts for the service area.
• Maintain strong working relationships with the service directorate while upholding professional integrity and best financial practice.
• Lead or participate in improvement and matrix management projects as part of the division’s transformation agenda.
