Service Advisor – Automotive After‑Sales

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, customer‑focused Service Advisor to join a busy automotive after‑sales team in Fareham. You will act as the main link between customers and the workshop, managing the service journey from vehicle check‑in to collection while ensuring clear communication throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers on arrival and book vehicles for service or repair.
• Accurately raise job cards and repair orders.
• Provide service and repair estimates to customers.
• Liaise with technicians regarding vehicle progress and keep customers updated.
• Upsell additional work, products and services where appropriate.
• Handle warranty and service‑plan enquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy after‑sales department.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
