Service Advisor – Automotive After‑sales (Oxford)

About the role

We are seeking a professional, customer‑focused Service Advisor to join our busy after‑sales team in Oxford. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring every visit is handled with efficiency and a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, manage service and repair bookings, and accurately record vehicle concerns.
• Liaise with technicians to track vehicle progress and arrange additional work when required.
• Provide regular updates to customers throughout the repair process.
• Prepare and explain service invoices, promoting relevant after‑sales products and services.
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and handle queries or complaints professionally.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in the service and parts departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Advisor, or a similar customer‑facing role in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

• Experience using dealership management systems.
