Service Manager – Agricultural & Construction Equipment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Service Department, which supports agricultural, construction and horticultural equipment. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure the team delivers first‑class service, maintains high customer satisfaction and meets profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the service workshop, including scheduling, workload distribution and productivity.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of technicians, handling staff matters in line with company policy.
• Manage customer relationships, resolve queries diplomatically and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Monitor departmental financial performance, profit/loss statements and key performance indicators.
• Administer warranty processes and ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of agricultural, construction or horticultural machinery.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a workshop environment.
• Ability to interpret financial reports and KPI data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a customer‑focused attitude.
