Service Support Administrator – Commercial Catering

About the role

This position supports a leading commercial catering equipment specialist by coordinating engineers, managing reactive call‑outs and overseeing preventative maintenance programmes for client kitchens across the UK. You will act as the central link between customers and field‑based engineers, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineers and schedule reactive service call‑outs and planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Maintain accurate job cards, purchase orders and stock levels within internal systems.
• Communicate service updates to customers and engineers throughout each job lifecycle.
• Resolve scheduling challenges and service issues as they arise.
• Handle supplier queries and ensure service records are up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Positive, proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, administration, scheduling or coordination.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

What we offer

• Salary range £28,000 – £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Full‑time role, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
• Friendly office team located close to Stevenage train station.
