Service Team Leader

About the role

The Service Team Leader drives the front‑end operations of a Morrisons store, overseeing checkouts, customer service kiosks and car parks. You will keep the shop floor running smoothly, support colleagues and ensure a positive experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Be visible on the shop floor, using headsets to assist colleagues and keep queues moving.
• Lead a friendly, helpful team, fostering a culture of trust and recognition.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cash handling and legal compliance each shift.
• Analyse store reports and dashboards to identify issues and improve the checkout experience.
• Help keep the department tidy, managing put‑backs promptly to minimise waste.

Required profile

• Builds strong, open relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Enjoys coaching and developing a high‑performing team.
• Has strong operational and technical knowledge of front‑end service departments.
