Fruit & Veg Team Leader

About the role

As the Fruit & Veg Team Leader at Morrisons Glenrothes, you will oversee the produce department, ensuring fresh, high‑quality items are displayed and stocked for customers each day.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver friendly, helpful service and act on customer feedback.
• Maintain exceptional standards by reducing waste, checking date codes, rotating stock and storing produce correctly.
• Coordinate daily department communication, recognise achievements and encourage ideas.
• Analyse department data to streamline routines, speed up processes and ensure compliance with safety, quality and legal guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong operational and technical knowledge of Fruit & Veg with experience coaching colleagues.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and maintain clear communication across the department.
• Proven planning skills to meet strict daily deadlines, even during busy periods.
• Practical approach to stock management, focusing on quality, rotation and waste reduction.
