ServiceNow Test Lead – Remote (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Test Lead to join a high‑profile digital transformation programme in the healthcare sector. The role is contract‑based (inside IR35) for six months, primarily remote with occasional travel to UK offices for planning events and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall test strategy, quality metrics and success criteria.
• Develop comprehensive test plans aligned with programme objectives and delivery timelines.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage testing resources, monitor progress and remove blockers.
• Identify, assess and mitigate testing risks and issues.
• Oversee defect management, ensuring proper documentation, prioritisation and resolution.
• Produce clear reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, risks and release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and QA practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Test Lead, QA Lead or Senior Test Manager.
• Background delivering testing in UK public sector or highly regulated environments, preferably healthcare or NHS.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and principles.
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute test strategies and plans.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience providing test reporting and release recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Agile certifications or extensive Agile delivery experience.
