Shuttering Carpenter Supervisor

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Shuttering Carpenter Supervisor for a three‑month contract on a commercial construction project in Exeter. You will lead a team of carpenters, ensuring high‑quality formwork and safe site practices.

Key responsibilities

• Construct and install shuttering and formwork systems for large‑scale foundation works.
• Manage gangs of carpenters, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring productivity.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to guide installation.
• Guarantee that all formwork is safe, secure, and complies with site requirements.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and enforce site safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven carpentry experience within the construction industry, specifically in a supervisory capacity.
• Gold CSCS card and SSSTS certification.

What we offer
