Shuttering Carpenter Supervisor

About the role
Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Shuttering Carpenter Supervisor for a three‑month contract on a commercial construction project in Exeter. You will lead a team of carpenters, ensuring high‑quality formwork and safe site practices.
Key responsibilities
- Construct and install shuttering and formwork systems for large‑scale foundation works.
- Manage gangs of carpenters, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring productivity.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to guide installation.
- Guarantee that all formwork is safe, secure, and complies with site requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and enforce site safety procedures.
Required profile
- Proven carpentry experience within the construction industry, specifically in a supervisory capacity.
- Gold CSCS card and SSSTS certification.

What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £27‑£29 (CIS available).
- Standard working hours: Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑6 pm.
