About the role
We are seeking SIA‑licensed security guards to join the team for the Qatar Horse Racing event at Goodwood Racecourse. The role runs from Tuesday 28 July to Saturday 1 August, offering day shifts on a PAYE basis.
Key responsibilities
- Check guest tickets and passes, granting access to authorised attendees.
- Report any incidents promptly to the relevant safety teams or supervisors.
- Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout the event.
Required profile
- Previous experience working at events or similar venues.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure while handling multiple responsibilities.
- Strong observational abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, clients and emergency personnel.
Required skills
- Valid SIA licence.
What we offer
- £13.00 per hour, PAYE.
- Temporary part‑time contract covering the event dates.
