Site Engineer - Large Scale RC & Earthworks Project

About the Role

Join a highly skilled engineering team working on a major, high-profile infrastructure project located in West Glasgow. As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of reinforced concrete (RC) structures and earthworks, ensuring precision and excellence at every stage of the construction process.

Main Missions

• Ensure strict adherence to HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability) regulations and contribute to project safety goals.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring graduate engineers, assistants, and apprentices.
• Manage site documentation, including daily journals, knowledge sharing, and technical reporting.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, calculations, and sketches for site personnel.
• Manage RFIs and TQs to proactively resolve technical discrepancies and information gaps.
• Perform dimensional controls, topographic setups, instrument calibration, and "as-built" surveys.
• Implement quality plans, conduct inspections, manage non-conformities, and oversee work permits.
• Coordinate material quantities, logistics, and supply chain requirements.
• Collaborate closely with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain schedule and budget integrity.
