Site Manager – Refurbishment Project

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to lead a strip‑out and refurbishment project in Leeds for a well‑established repairs and maintenance contractor. The position is a short‑term contract of 8‑10 weeks, with strong potential for further work for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations and oversee early‑stage rebuild works.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to programme.
• Maintain health and safety compliance throughout the site.
• Coordinate strip‑out activities and structural preparation.
• Liaise with the client and internal teams.
• Maintain site records and report progress regularly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or strip‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage trades effectively and keep projects on schedule.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications (essential).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
